The Olly Wilkes Memorial Football Tournament 2023

Midtherm Engineering are proud to have sponsored the 2023 Olly Wilkes Memorial football tournament which took place 25th November 2023, raising monies and awareness for the Anthony Nolan Stem Cell register.

Simon Wilkes and his family have run events every year in their son Olly’s memory since he tragically passed away in 2017. These events have helped raise over £50,000 for various charities close to the families heart, and last years football tournament alone raised almost £15,000.

This years event was a roaring success and raised £11,082 overall, hosted at the prestigious St Georges park, with appearances from ex professional footballers, including Stiliyan Petrov whom himself recovered from acute leukaemia over 11 years ago.
